Looking for anyone who can help me with advice/tips on how to locate my homeless addict brother in El Paso I know this is probably a very long shot, but first I would like to know if anyone knows the majority of the homeless population in El Paso, whether it be from volunteering or being apart of it themselves or whatever the case may be, or know someone who does. If so, I would whole heartedly appreciate it if you could message me so I can provide my brothers name/description in case there is miracle possibility. Short backstory, my brother has been homeless in El Paso for around 3-4ish years and there has been some time periods in the past where I wouldn’t hear from him for multiple days, weeks, and sometimes months and he would randomly pop up out of the blue and message me and that just became the new norm. But for the past year or longer, that hasn’t been the case and our new norm is talking basically everyday or at most every few days. With that being said, I haven’t heard from him in almost 3 weeks and the few times we spoke he said he had been sick with the flu for over a week but was maybe starting to feel a little better. A week before that he had just gotten out of the hospital after detoxing for a week and after discharge he was very determined and convinced he was going to stay sober and clean, especially with the help of suboxone. I’m aware that withdrawal symptoms can kind of mimic the flu, which is why I’m super worried. I probably gave way more information than necessary for my questions but I started word vomiting. I just am looking for any help on what to do to help find him or figure out where he is/has been. I know it’s common for addicts to go MIA for periods of time, which I still don’t understand why or where they go/what they do, but it’s still not like him and the only friend of his I have contact info for says she hasn’t heard from him and he hasn’t been seen around at all. He hasn’t been arrested recently so he’s not in jail. So any advice on what to do would really mean a lot!
